About the Author
Richard Sigmund was born on March 19, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa. His grandfather was praying as Richard was being born, and the Lord told him, "Through him, I will answer prayer." Whose prayer? The prayer of his great-grandfather, who was a Spirit-filled, Jewish, circuit-riding preacher during the Civil War.The Lord first appeared to Richard when he was four years old. As a child, he started preaching in a country Methodist church in Iowa. His grandfather knew healing evangelist Jack Coe Sr., and Rev. Coe brought Richard to Omaha in 1949 to preach. While the boy who became known as "Little Richard" preached, the anointing came upon him, and he saw angels.When he was about nine years old, he presented the gospel before the meetings of world-renowned evangelist and miracle worker A. A. Allen. Richard was with Allen for about ten years; tutors enabled him to maintain his schoolwork while he was on the road. Also during that time, Richard was with evangelist Lee Girard and presented his testimony during William Branham meetings.In his early twenties, Richard had a fruitful ministry for a time in Phoenix, Arizona, and then held tent meetings with considerable success among the Navajo in northern Arizona and in other revival meetings around the country. In 1974, while he was ministering at a small church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, he was declared dead for eight hours after a traffic accident, during which he had his experiences of heaven and hell.Over the years, Richard has preached the gospel through television programs, radio broadcasts, and speaking engagements. He has been in meetings with Kathryn Kuhlman and Oral Roberts, and he was interviewed by Pat Robertson. Richard has ministered in England, Scotland, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, and many other countries. In South Africa, he followed David Nunn and Morris Cerullo in a special series of meetings. It was Rex Humbard who encouraged him to tell his story of a place called heaven.In the early 1990s, Richard met his wife, Priscilla, a fellow native of Iowa. After living in Texas and Missouri, they returned to Iowa, where their organization, Cleft of the Rock Ministries, is now based. Richard is associated with World Bible Way Fellowship.

This book had a profound effect on me, my wife and other who heard it. Most staggering was Bro. Richard's account of meeting people in heaven that I knew on earth (William Branham) and seeing preparations in progress for the arrival of others that I now know, including the account of the building of Dr. Paul Hegstrom's home for his arrival. I just completed taking the Life Skills class that Dr. Paul Hegstrom and Judy Hegstrom founded and it was unique and life changing.
I have had many supernatural experiences with God in my 60+ years here on earth and everything in this book rings completely true to me. I highly recommend it.

like loved ones being able to look down at times ...

Of all that I've read of different ones experiencing Heaven, none strike me as so personable in that time and time again, he just says he doesn't understand it but this is what he saw or heard, even saying there were times, he wasn't permitted to see or know further, or its memory was wiped away [he reportedly had a "photographic" memory]. Along with the the details he gives - several correspond to Kat Kerr's experience, like loved ones being able to look down at times and see important events of our lives, "stores" in Heaven designed exactly for your tastes, mansions in the sky, etc. It's a book, I have read twice and want to keep reading, as if to instill so many of its important details in mind; longing already in my heart for more of Heaven.
Sigmund states he was told by God that he would be alive when the Rapture occurred. [...] Sigmund finally died in Oct 2010. Considering so much of what Sigmund readily admits he didn't understand, couldn't adequately convey, or was forbidden to relate - all speaking to his honesty - one could as well say that what he says here that definitely thought he heard the Lord tell him about being alive when He came for His church, which he really wasn't as clear about as he thought, and in retrospect, we can see that though he is now "dead", he is really more alive than ever in Heaven and will be when the Rapture actually does takes place!
What Sigmund should have given precedence to in considering what he thought he clearly heard and where he really must of misunderstood is that in Scripture, the Lord Himself says no one knows the hour, not even the angels in Heaven, but the Father only, when these things will occur [Matt. 24: 36]. While the Lord here is speaking mostly about the events connected to His second coming, which takes place at least seven years after the Rapture, the Rapture is part of what the Lord had in mind, though such wisely would not be revealed because it was not part of God's program for the nation of Israel, and only then later given first to the Apostle Paul as part of the mystery revealed for the church today or for this dispensation [Rapture will restate God's program for the nation of Israel, which will then follow with the long awaited kingdom age of Messiah's reign on earth from Jerusalem].
Sigmund's experience of Heaven occurred in Oct 1974 or at least 25 years earlier before his interview with Sid Roth and if anything appears "incredible" about Sigmund it is waiting until 2009 to publish it all, unless he had written it earlier in a different way. While he has been accused of maybe "embellishing" the facts, the fact of it all remains, and what he saw would always stay with him, more than what he was told, unless the Holy Spirit "brought it to his remembrance". The many supernatural testimonies others give in relation to Sigmond's experience, his account, and God working through him afterwards make it all even more credible!
At the end of the book, he gives several incidents directly related to either his heightened ministry since the Lord returned him to earth, or others in association with him. One was simply about a group of soldiers, caught behind enemy fire during the Iraq war, thinking they were all going to die, having no Bible but one had a copy of this book and as they were all listening to it being read, they suddenly heard a loud thud! Peering over their embankment or wall, they saw the enemy all fleeing. They escaped then from there, too. The next day or so, some of these enemy were captured and asked why they ran? What they heard was amazing! They had suddenly seen huge men in the sky with fiery swords and one brought his sword down and literally split the wall! Needless to say, these warriors were sent by God and no doubt in direct relation relation to the testimony of Sigmund about Heaven.

Wow, What A Book!!!!

When I received this book I couldn't put it down. Will reread it over and over as a reminder of what is in store for those that Love the Lord. I have read other books over the years that has had some of the things he saw and heard, but never one that had so many things I never heard. Eye has not seen, nor ears have heard the things that God has prepared for those that love him. But God has revealed them onto us by his Spirit. He is also in these last day's has been revealing them to many of his people like this brother who has now gone onto Glory!.
