Burn is Book #5 in The Steel Brothers Saga. I would recommend reading the books in order; Craving, Obsession, Possession, Melt and then Burn. The first three books in the series follow Jade and Talon, while Melt starts the relationship between Jonah, the oldest brother, and Melanie who is Jonah and Talon's Therapist. Burn continues with Jonah and Melanie's story.

Melanie and Jonah continue to feel drawn to one another, spending more time together at his house. Melanie finds herself in an embarrassing situation while at at Jonah's house and decides to leave without being noticed. Jonah is extremely angry at Melanie once he realizes what she did. Because of hurt feelings, Jonah doesn't answer a telephone call from Melanie; a decision he will continue to regret.

Some answers we've been looking for are revealed; while more questions keep us trying to figure out the mystery that is the Steel family. Jonah will do anything to protect the ones he loves, and that now includes Melanie. Due to certain situations, Melanie gains some clarity and starts to question her role in a patients recovery. Could the struggles that Melanie has faced with that patient somehow be tied to the Steel family?!? Jonah will stop at nothing to find answers that will help them all.

The cliffhangers are awesome and this series is worth the investment. If you like a hot, steamy romance with mystery and a suspenseful “who done it” that keeps you wanting more, don't miss out! Helen does not disappoint!

I loved this book just as much as I loved the ...

I thought I might be a bit lost when Burn was released because it was a while since I read book #4, but I was wrong. It wasn’t long before my memories of events and the characters came flooding back, proving that the Steel Brothers are memorable.
While I was reading Burn, I found it very hard to put it down. People and things kept interrupting me as I tried to find out what happens next in this series. Yes, I loved this book just as much as I loved the first four books and even though I want all the ends to be tied up, I also don’t want this series to finish.
A Word of Warning: Burn ends on a cliff hanger, but this book was well worth the pain. BTW, I bought every one of these books.
I gave Burn 5 sizzling stars.

Jonah and Melanie

OMG!!!!! I am left speechless on this one. I totally enjoyed this book. the characters a re made for each other. After Melanie 's kidnapping and her not being able to get anyone on the phone I really thought she was a goner, but to my surprise she used her head to get out of the situation with one focus, to tell Jonah she loves him. My girl waited patiently and did escape. 10 points for survival skills.

Jonah wow that man is oh gorgeous. Very Dominant but when he heard from Melanie he dropped everything and ran to her in the hospital. He took her home with him and vowed to find her kidnappers along with finding Talon's as well. The chemistry between the two of them is insanely HOT.

The story goes on to unfold some other mysterys and that's when things really get interesting. Everything is leading up to the same kidnappers in both cases. I can go on about the book but I need you to buy it and read it yourself. The entire series does not disappoint. Totally in love with this series. The cliff hanger, WOW it's a dozzer.

The title of this book may seem a bit misleading; "Introduction to Flight" sounds like a fairy narrow focused book, but don't be mislead. This book has a chapter on practically EVERY field of Aerospace Engineering that you could imagine. From aeronautical concepts like stability and control and aerodynamics, to astronautical concepts like orbital mechanics and entry, descent, and landing, to cross-disciplinary ideas like structures, this book covers it all. There is even an eye-opening introduction that overviews the history of aerospace engineering, from Samuel Langley and the Wright brothers to Wernher von Braun and the Apollo program.
Not only does this book include a bit about several concepts, but it goes into pretty good detail in each one. The writing is clean, clear, and rarely dull. There are several examples problems scattered throughout each chapter, and work problems at the end. These problems address real issues that engineers have to face. The references throughout the book will guide you to sources for more information if anything in particular catches your eye.
I think this book is most useful as, like the title suggests, an introduction. It will put you well on your way to picking a specialty within aerospace engineering, and is still a good reference to the fundamental concepts in every field. This book is a must-have for the new and budding aerospace engineer.

This is a great book for an introduction to aerospace engineering. It presents various detailed historical notes about aerospace. Also, when you read the book, you realize everything is very clear and easy to understand. Having the book and Dr Anderson (the author) for the class,was the best experience. This book opens up a whole new world in your academic development.

About the Author
Benjamin B. Lahey received his undergraduate training from Davidson College and his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Tennessee. He has taught at both community college and university levels, including the University of Georgia and the University of Miami, before joining the faculty at the University of Chicago. Ben is an award-winning teacher and a frequent speaker at the Annual National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology. He is also an active researcher on the behavioral and emotional problems of children; his research has been supported by the National Institute of Mental Health for many years. Ben was a representative of the field of psychology on the DSM-IV Child Disorders Work Group and a member of the US liaison group for the mental health section of the International Classification of Diseases. He was also the editor, with Alan E. Kazdin, of the first fourteen volumes in the annual series, Advances in Clinical Child Psychology, published by Plenum Press.

Simple and Easy to Read

The things that CSI cover in their many shows present questions unto themselves. How do they get fingerprints? How is it they construct a crime scene? What is it that the forensic people Really do? This is an easy introduction into how these kinds of questions get answere. As a layman to the trade, only curiosity peaked my interest in the subject (it doesn't help my wife watches the heck out of the various shows). Pick this up if you want to have your curiosity tickled a little more than the show. This is not a CSI handbook, it is just good to use the analogy of what people see regularly on tv; and how it translates from real science vs. the fiction of hollywood. I give it four stars because I do not know how to compare apples to oranges in the subject matter, is it too simple or too complicated in comparison to other how-does-it-work books? It is a simple read, not too many pictures, lots of info, and a legend included for you to delve more into the subject should you want to know how things are analyzed.

I bought this as research for my writing. I want to write a story or stories that involve crime scene investigations and autopsy results and related matters. For a person who knows nothing about this sort of thing except from television dramas, this book is very helpful. Over the years I have found these "Dummies" books to be a great resource for learning the basics of any subject. Whatever it is you want to get a handle on, these books are a good place to start. The language is easy. The books assume that you are starting from scratch. If you find you want to get deeper into a subject, they will point you in the right direction.

Church Vestments: Their Origin and Development

This is a wonderful little book that explains how vestments came about, with chapters that cover everything from the alb, to the chasuble and even the mitre (the hats bishops wear). For example, why do priests wear stoles? As it turns out, that's from Roman and Greek times during the first century when nobles wore stolas that were used as wear-all-day napkins of a sort - who would have thought? Or when did chasubles come about? Apparently all the common folk used to wear these in the first century, and then later priests continued to wear them as a sign of humility and simplicity, and later as a uniform of sorts so others would recognize them.

Although there is no specific information about modern vestments - i.e. how they are made, fabrics they are made out of, etc. - this is still a great book if you're wondering how all those parts of a vestment set came about. Very easy to read, I thought, and quite interesting.

About the Author
John Berger was born in London in 1926. He is well known for his novels and stories as well as for his works of nonfiction, including several volumes of art criticism. His first novel, A Painter of Our Time, was published in 1958, and since then his books have included Ways of Seeing, the fiction trilogy Into Their Labours, and the novel G., which won the Booker Prize in 1972. In 1962 he left Britain permanently, and lived in a small village in the French Alps. He died in 2017.
